Vans California Footwear – Spring 2011
New footwear from the Vans California Collection just landed at select retailers. A few new colors of the Vans Era, Chukka Del Barco, 106 Vulcanized, Style 31, Sk8-Hi, and Zapato Slip are part of the Spring 2011 delivery. Look for all these releases at your local Vans California account holders, including Proper.
Vans 2011 Snow Collection
Vans Snow gives us glimpse into their forthcoming AWT collection. Reworking the Chukka Low, Mountain Edition and Switchback silhouettes, Vans “redesigned and reinforced the shoes to operate in wet, rugged conditions.” Each sneaker is packed with weather-resistant features including 3M Scotchguard® infused premium leather, suede and textile uppers, fully gusseted tongue, thick water repellant laces, and inverted waffle sole for superior traction. Unfortunately these don’t drop until 2011. They’d sure be handy right now.
VANS Canvas Spring 2011 Collection
It might be trivial but there is something quite fond about canvas. Perhaps because of its simplicity or maybe there is a “retro-chic” movement going on. Whatever those reasons might be, the updated canvas line from vans will most likely address the needs. From VANS Zero Lo, Raglan, to Old Skool, each resembles the vans from old days when canvas, not leather, was its mainstay. And for those who really need something to shred the skate park with, the collection even included a Half Cab made from heavier 14 oz canvas. The VANS Canvas Collection for Spring 2011 is available at skateshops nationwide, including Premier at Grand Rapids.
